The original master bedroom of the house. This ensuite belonged to my great grandparents, Karel and Paula Loevenstein who famously boasted about having the best view of the park. I couldn't agree more, located perfectly in the center of the upper floor and facing west, this ensuite sits high above the terrace and presents the most blissful panoramic views of the park. Decorated in traditional style, this ensuite has a large bathroom that comes fitted with a shower, a separate bathtub for two, and a double vanity. For those looking for lots of bed space we have fitted this ensuite with a super king size bed (200x200cm). This ensuite is connected to Ensuite 08 - Single Guest Room by a locked adjoining door that can be opened by you and your fellow guests during your stay.
This ensuite is tucked nicely in the south-west wing of the upper floor. It’s spacious in length and boasts a neat feature of a little round window centered beneath an A frame roof design. This ensuite belonged to my grandmother’s older sister, Pavla. Originally this room stretched across the entire west wing of the upper floor, but in the latest restoration it has been converted into two rooms. Furnished in traditional style this ensuite has a king size bed (180x200) and comes fitted with a shower bath.
Perhaps with the most unique layout of all rooms in the house, this ensuite boasts a special oval shape that draws in plenty of sunlight. After purchasing the house, my great grandfather, Karel, made plans to remodel the entire “west wing” of the upper floor. To his credit, this ensuite is an elegant testament to his vision. Furnished in traditional style this ensuite has a queen size bed (160x200) and comes fitted with a shower bath. It has a vast panoramic view of the park and courtyard and has a comfortable seating area placed in the center of the room.
This ensuite is nestled nicely under the sloping roof with a great view to the courtyard and church. We must advise that for our taller guests, the ceiling might be a hair too low. That said, the smaller size makes this ensuite cozy. It comes furnished in traditional style and is fitted with a spacious kind size bed (180x200) and a shower bath.
Situated opposite to the master bedroom, this ensuite belonged to my grandmother Karla, who was the youngest of two daughters. Today, we have converted it into the main guestroom. The room sits directly in the middle of the house high above the main entrance and overlooks the 14th century baroque church of St. Kliment. Furnished in traditional style this ensuite has a king size bed (180x200) and comes with a built-in bathroom fitted with a shower bath. Elegant and spacious, this ensuite faces east and welcomes the morning with plenty of sunlight. For those that need a bit less sunlight in the morning, you will be happy to hear that we have fitted the windows with black out curtains.
This ensuite is the smallest room of the house and was originally an extra storage room which stored my grandmother’s and grandaunt’s excessive and unused children’s toys. Fast forward to today, this ensuite has been converted into a cozy and snug room. Decorated in traditional style this ensuite has a king size bed (180x200) and comes fitted with a shower bath. Like all the ensuites that face the courtyard, this ensuite has a nice view to the 14th century baroque church of St. Kliment.
This ensuite is our only triple room and is the second largest room in the house. It can accommodate three guests comfortably and is perfect for couples who are traveling with a young adult, their friend or even with that relative they don’t mind sharing sleeping quarters with. This ensuite is divided into two rooms. Upon entering, the first room is fitted with a standard single bed (90x200) and has access to the bathroom which comes built with a shower. In the back sits a spacious second room which is fitted with a king size bed (180x200). To ensure privacy, the rooms are connected by an adjoining door that can be closed and locked.
This ensuite was originally the walk-in closet to the Master Bedroom. It was designed as a dressing room with spacious closets that displayed and stored my great grandparents clothing and accessories. Today it has been remodelled into an ensuite that is perfect for the single traveler or for couples that don’t mind sharing a smaller bed. As it sits right next to the master bedroom it shares the same blissful panoramic view to the park. Decorated in traditional style, this ensuite has a large single bed (140x200) and comes with a bathroom fitted with a shower. This ensuite is connected to Ensuite 01– Master Bedroom by a locked adjoining door that can be opened by you and your fellow guests during your stay.
