My great-grandfather, Karel Loevenstein made his fortune as an accomplished banker and captain of industry during the First Czechoslovak Republic. Despite his career obligations and responsibilities, he always dreamed to be the proud owner of a farm.

 

He sought to escape the city, seek bliss, and live slow in the countryside. This was their hideaway, a place to spend carefree weekends with the family and their close friends. A home away from home.

 

We pay homage to them and continue to keep living their dream in this beautiful place that is Zámek Dobřenice.
